Keysight Joins Google Cloud Partner Initiative to Support Agile Orchestration of Innovative 5G Services at the Network Edge
SANTA ROSA, Calif .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS), a leading technology company that provides advanced design and validation solutions to help accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, announced that it has joins the Google Cloud partnership initiative to support the agile orchestration of 5G Services at the network edge.
A growing number of mobile operators are leveraging cloud and edge computing to bring high-speed, low-latency, and secure connectivity to the network edge while maximizing operational efficiency. Keysight has joined the Google Cloud partner initiative to enable a cloud-centric 5G ecosystem to connect software-driven infrastructure from the edge of the radio access network (RAN) to the core.
“As a Google Cloud Partner, Keysight will support service providers in the transition to cloud and edge computing, which are needed to deliver advanced applications and use cases such as media streaming, gaming, and gaming. cloud, connected vehicles, private wireless networks and immersive experiences, ”said Scott Bryden, vice president of Keysight’s carrier industry solutions group. “Keysight’s solutions in wireless and wired technologies enable hyperscalers and mobile operators to create unified, heterogeneous networks that support a wide range of use cases, requirements and applications.
Telecommunications providers are migrating network and application operations to container-based native cloud solutions. Standalone Mode (SA) 5G deployments using Standard Commercial Hardware (COTS) with open standard interfaces accelerate virtualization RAN architectures and network slicing technology. This digital transformation unlocks innovation at the edge of the network with real-time data processing closer to where data is collected and consumed.
“Low latency access to cloud capabilities and applications is increasingly important for companies operating at the edge of the network,” said Tanuj Raja, global head of strategic partnerships at Google Cloud. “We are excited to partner with Keysight to help communications service providers quickly and affordably deploy native 5G in the cloud, and ultimately to enable better connectivity for customers at the edge. ”
Keysight offers a wide range of solutions to validate early designs, system interoperability and performance, network and endpoint security, and compliance with 3GPP and O-RAN specifications. Keysight’s end-to-end portfolio of solutions, based on common hardware and software platforms, enables a cloud-centric ecosystem to accelerate the deployment of multi-access edge computing (MEC) technology, network function virtualization (NFV) and artificial intelligence (AI). This allows mobile operators to confidently orchestrate innovative wireless connectivity services at the edge of the network.
