IIT Madras joins Taylor & Francis Group

Taylor & Francis Group has partnered with IIT Madras Robert Bosch Center for Data Science and AI to accelerate research. Dr Gagandeep Singh, Senior Editor, CRC Press, said: “We hope that this co-branded organic commission project from this internationally renowned institute will result in a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas, issues and best practices; in a scholarly publication.

IISc with KMBL

In partnership with Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has announced its intention to establish a state-of-the-art AI and LA (AI-ML) center (KMBL).

The new facility will be called the Kotak-IISc AI-ML Center and will be located on the IISc campus in Bangalore. It will offer undergraduate, graduate and short-term courses in AI, ML, deep learning, fintech, and reinforcement learning, among other topics. In addition, the center intends to foster research and innovation in the fields of AI and machine learning and create a talent pool from across the country capable of delivering cutting-edge solutions to meet emerging and future industry requirements.

IIT Roorkee with the Mehta Family Foundation

IIT Roorkee and the Mehta Family Foundation (MFF) in the United States of America have collaborated to create the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

MFF and IITR have reached an agreement to create a new Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. This initiative is MFF’s fourth new school in India, advancing the organization’s goal of creating new degree programs in data science, artificial intelligence and bioengineering that will result in discoveries, new ventures and new jobs. The school news, which will be erected on the main campus of IITR, has generated a lot of interest in the global media.

IIT Delhi with IHFC

I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) and iHub Anubhuti, the TIH of the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIITD), recently signed an agreement to establish India’s first Medical Cobotics Center (MCC) at IIIT-Delhi.

Both IIT Delhi and IIIT Delhi have strong engineering backgrounds and strong ties to researchers and health professionals from various Indian universities including AIIMS and others. Both centers are dedicated to advancing medical robotics / cobotics, digital health, sensing and computing technologies used in robot-assisted operations, training and medical procedures.

TMU Moradabad collaborates with NVIDIA

Moradabad’s Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) has signed a memorandum of understanding with NVIDIA Corporation to provide artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning (DL) to a new generation of students and developers. NVIDIA and TMU Moradabad want to collaborate to create a center of excellence for AI research on campus. The NVIDIA Jetson AI / DL on-board lab at the TMU Moradabad campus will prepare engineers, researchers and data scientists for potential jobs in AI and deep learning robotics.

According to Deepu Talla, NVIDIA vice president and general manager for South Asia, Embedded and Edge Computing, “The AI ​​revolution is being powered by NVIDIA in research centers around the world. TMU Moradabad’s NVIDIA Jetson AI / DL on-board lab has the potential to help India catch up with the competition in high-performance computing.

Axis Bank-Manipal School of Data Analytics

In collaboration with Axis Bank, Manipal Global announces the Axis Bank-Manipal School of Data Analytics, the first online program guaranteed by the country’s employment in data science and analysis. The Data Analytics School offers a three-month online degree program with a two-week hands-on component. Starting this month, the first group will receive training in basic ideas and techniques of data science and analysis, big data and ML using Python. The program is aimed at recent graduates and individuals with up to three years of experience in fields related to technology and analytics.
