Adlink launches the first MXM graphics modules embedded on the Nvidia Turing architecture

Leading technology publisher Adlink Technology today introduced the first MXM-based onboard graphics modules based on Nvidia’s Turing architecture. The new modules will accelerate edge-based artificial intelligence inference in constrained applications.

The modules are the Adlink EGX-MXM-T1000, EGX-MXM-RTX3000 and EGX-MXM-RTX5000. They are designed for edge use, integrated into equipment by system integrators, independent software vendors and OEMs, and especially where size, weight and power (SWaP) are key considerations.

“The new integrated MXM graphics modules provide the perfect balance of size, weight and power for edge applications, where the demand for processing power continues to increase,” said Zane Tsai, director of the product center of platform, Adlink. “By taking advantage of Nvidia’s GPUs based on the Turing architecture, our customers can now increase their edge processing performance with ruggedized modules suitable for any environment, while remaining within their SWaP envelope.”

Adlink’s integrated MXM graphics modules accelerate edge computing and edge AI in a myriad of compute-intensive applications, especially in harsh or harsh applications for the environment, such as those with limited or no ventilation, or corrosive environments.

Examples include medical imaging, industrial automation, biometric access control, autonomous mobile robots, transportation and aerospace and defense.

Adlink’s integrated MXM graphics modules accelerate artificial intelligence with Nvidia CUDA, Tensor and RT Cores. They are one-fifth the size of full-height, full-length PCI Express graphics cards and consume as little as 50W of power. They offer more than three times the life cycle of non-integrated graphics.
